Front of house is manned by the vivacious Manager, Fabio Matta, who hails from Sardinia. He will happily tell you fascinating stories behind every dish as he recommends food and drink that are spot on, to please every palate that comes through the door.
Chef Francis has just updated his menu with new items such as: Zuppa di vongole e cozze – a robust Tuscany classic of
clams and mussels soup cooked with clam juice, tomatoes and herbs and drizzled with basil pesto. Asparagus Risotto – Superfino carnaroli risotto rice cooked with sautéed onions, garlic, asparagus & broccoli in clam juice, dressed with pan-seared scallops. Pollo alla Diavola – a boneless chicken leg marinated with chilli pepper, lemon juice and smoked paprika and char-grilled to perfection, served with mesclun, roasted potato wedges, sautéed mushrooms and cherry tomatoes.
